The weekend!

So much for posting everyday! I've had a pretty busy weekend, so by the time I got home at night, I would be tired and ready for bed.
Let's start with Friday. I went to Range USA in Bartlett to get my fingerprints done for the daycare center. :)) Luke met me up, made fun of me because I couldn't roll my fingers right, and pumped my gas for me again. He's so sweet! From there, I met my good friend, Gator, up at the mall. We went to lunch at a delicioussssss chinese buffet in town, and then went shopping! Hobby Lobby was the hit of the day. Of course. ;) I worked at Finish Line from 4 until 9. Robert, my boss, split Gator and I up and put me in the dungeon. The dungeon = the women's side of the store. Helping females in retail is one of the worst experiences one could ever have! Girls are mean. All ages. Other than that, work was great. I love the people I work with!
After work, I headed to Madison's house for a little get together. Saturday was her birthday, so she had her closest friends meet her at Chili's and then some of them headed back to her house for some chill time. I missed supper because I was working, but I went over to the house afterwards to say hi and give her her presents. :) I made her a picture frame (...the last thing we need for the dorm. We have frames that have no pictures right now.), some cute socks, and a t-shirt that is perfect for us! It has a huge cheeseburger with legs and it says, "Runners have the best buns." I got one for me too. :)) She loved them. :) We played Dance Central on the xbox and just chilled. It was nice to catch up with everyone a little bit.

Saturday morning, I slept in and the painted. I love doing orders for nurseries, and I had one to do this week! An old friend of mine, Samantha Stowell, ordered a big one for her cousin. Her cousin is having her second child at the end of this month--and it's her first girl! With that said, she sure went all out with the pink and purple. :) Anyway, the new baby's name is "Fiona Rose," so Samantha asked if I could do her first name and then put a rose on it. Soooooo, I tried. I did my first rose! Samantha loved it and couldn't be more satisfied with the board. That's one of the most rewarding feelings. :)

Saturday evening, I met Luke at Casa Mexicana, and we had a great meal. He loves Casa so much. :) From there, we went to Sonic to waste time, and then to Brighton High School's Oscar Night. It was neat going back. Last year, that was our first big event together. So, it holds quite a few of our favorite memories. :) After Oscar Night, Luke, Natalie Wilson (I call her CW. She's a teacher at BHS and an awesome friend of mine), and I went out to Olympic Steak House and talked for two hours. It was great! We love CW.

Drew, Charlie (she had to work the event), me, and my sweet Luke.

Here's a few pics from the photo op that Luke and I had at Sonic...

I thank the Lord for him everyday.

This morning we had church. Brother Steve talked about Noah and the ark. He had some awesome points and words to share with us. He's an awesome preacher and man of God. I love hearing him preach. :) After church, Luke and I went and had lunch at Logan's Roadhouse or whatever it's called. We were so disappointed. We won't be going back. lol. Oh well, Chili's, along with every other Sunday, is just fine with us!! :) Afterwards, we went back to the house to be with the family and just laughed and relaxed for a couple of hours until I headed back home. I got home and cleaned my junky room...I seemed to have completely let it go over break. But that's totalllyyyy ok with me. I packed up because I planned on moving back to Memphis tomorrow, but the snow decided to come anyway! Everything is shut down, and the roads are covered. Looks like a lazy day with my computer and a cup of coffee tomorrow!

I had an awesome weekend, and God's showing me a lot. I hope y'all are enjoying following my life and doing great yourselves! Have a blessed day tomorrow. Goodnight. :)
